The Best AI Tool for Blog Writing

The plethora of new AI tools has revolutionized the world of content creation. We’ve spent time reviewing different AI tools, writing step-by-step instructions, and comparing features. And now, we’re ready to give our thorough and honest opinion regarding which website is the best AI tool for blog writing.

ChatGPT

The first AI platform we reviewed—and our number-one choice!—was ChatGPT (OpenAI). We’ve spent the most time using Chat GPT and are super familiar with the platform.

ChatGPT prompted us at the start, walking us through five steps that helped us generate a blog post. The platform is fast and cheap—currently, it costs less than $3 to generate 100,000 words. ChatGPT is releasing a new pricing model soon, so we’ll be on the lookout for that.

Support on ChatGPT is limited, and it’s not the most accessible platform if you don’t use their prompts and templates to get started.

Note: Don’t be deterred by AI platforms that don’t help with specific prompts! Interact has a slew of instructional posts to help you develop your own prompts to generate your best content.

Let’s keep going through the rest of the platforms to learn about the pros and cons of each.

Rytr

Our next pick for the best AI tool for blog writing is Rytr, especially for beginners. Rytr has excellent pricing, usage, and creativity. The platform generates multiple versions of content and allows users to format it within the app. You can get support easily enough within Rytr, which is why we ranked it so high compared to the other platforms.

Users can choose between the free plan, which offers 10,000 characters per month; the $9/month plan, which offers 100,000 characters; or the unlimited plan, for $29/month.

What’s really great about Rytr is how it offers prompts for beginners to get started. With ChatGPT, you need to know what you’re putting into the system to use the platform effectively. Rytr requests specific fields of information, so the content it creates for you is on-point, even if you’re new to AI-generated content.

Another bonus for Rytr is that once you create content, you can regenerate it, change your prompt responses, and rephrase sentences. These features are all super easy to use within the tool, so if you don’t like what the AI gave you initially, you can change it up yourself or get more ideas from the software.

You can also format within the app; it’s as easy as copying and pasting the final version of what you formatted into your publishing system, and your blog post is ready to go.

Their paid plans offer a community, a dedicated account manager, and email and chat support.

Jasper AI

Very closely ranked behind Rytr is Jasper AI. Jasper was the only AI platform requiring a credit card to get started, and their plans are expensive at $82/month for 100,000 words. Jasper offers a five-day free trial, but the other platforms either provide a free plan or a longer free trial.

The good news is that Jasper is very user-friendly and excellent for beginners. The platform offers helpful prompts to get started—just like Rytr—and it’s super easy to regenerate content for creativity and brand alignment. In other words, with Jasper’s AI, it’s easy to say what you want in your own voice.

The formatting function in the app works well, and you can just copy and paste your blog into your publishing software. Jasper offers community and chat support if you need assistance.

Note: Jackie, our quiz coach, attended a webinar from Jasper and reported that their guidance and support is top-notch. The support helped her understand how to use the tool, navigate the features, and explained where to go if she got stuck or wanted to change course.

Even though Jasper is on the expensive side – if you’re just getting started and value support, Jasper is the content-creating AI tool for you.

Writesonic

WriteSonic is next on the list as they have more expensive plans and provide limited or no support.

Where Writesonic shines, though, is keyword research. Hands-down.

In the initial review, it was the only tool that provided researched keywords. This function showed the difficulty score and the search volumes for a long list of keywords. It also explained why you would want to use specific keywords in your blog.

The other platforms require users to do their own keyword research and input them into the software. If you need help with or want to write more targeted posts based on keywords, WriteSonic will be your best AI platform.

Anyword

Anyword placed last—there is not much to say about this one. They have a similar price plan to Jasper at $83/month, but it only includes 30,000 words. Functionality is limited, as regenerating content was not intuitive or user-friendly.
