20 Quiz Titles That Get the Most Clicks

Do you feel like there are more distractions than ever?

If you’re finding it difficult to stand out in highly competitive markets, you’re not alone. As marketing strategies continue to evolve, you need a unique message to be memorable.

But what can you do when you have only 2.7 seconds to capture someone’s attention

The answer is to lead with a memorable title.

In this case, a memorable quiz title!

Creating a lead-generating quiz is a great way to capture someone’s attention on your website or through social media. Quizzes are fun, interactive, and drive real results for your business.

Use a quiz to earn $50,000 in additional revenue like TONIC Site Shop, or attract over 20,000 leads for your business like Leisa Peterson. Other entrepreneurs like Lindsay Scholz and Brianna Berner have grown their email lists by up to 300% each month from their quizzes.

All of this sounds great, but if you can’t convince your audience to take the quiz, you’ll have a hard time converting people into email subscribers or new leads. That’s why you need to create an intriguing quiz title that inspires your audience to take action.

So, let’s get started!

Click here to skip down to the 20 click-worthy quiz titles or keep reading to learn what you need to nail down before creating your quiz title.

Steps to take before you create a quiz title

You may already have some ideas for a quiz title, but before you begin, define the specific elements of your quiz. It will be easier to create an attention-grabbing quiz title that way. Let’s start with your quiz topic.

Select a quiz topic

Before you can create a click-worthy quiz title, you’ll need to know what your quiz will cover. Since your quiz title will focus on the subject matter of your quiz, it’s better to define your quiz topic first.

As you begin to brainstorm ideas for your quiz, think about what topics your audience wants to learn about. What topics do people ask you for advice on? What could you talk about for hours? If your name was synonymous with one topic, what would it be?

Ultimately, it’s best to choose a topic you’re already an expert in or something you want to be known for. It will be easier to relate it to your business and core offerings.

For example, it makes sense for a life and career coach like Shaina Leis to create a career mindset quiz, or a leadership coach and team consultant like Tianna Tye to create an Enneagram leadership quiz.

Once you have a clear topic in mind, it’s time to choose a quiz type.

Choose a quiz type

Quiz titles are often influenced by quiz type, so this step is important. Below is a brief explanation of the most common types of quizzes so you can choose the right one for your brand.

Personality quiz

Personality quizzes are the most popular type of quiz because they give customized results to quiz-takers who are interested in self-discovery.

By answering a series of quiz questions, they’ll receive a clear quiz result that explains their personality traits, strengths, and other discoveries that will help them move forward with more self-knowledge.

Popular brand personality quizzes from Kaye Putnam and Jenna Kutcher have gone on to earn six- and seven-figure revenue from their quizzes, so they’re worth exploring!

Scored quiz

Also called a tally quiz, scored quizzes use a point value system to generate personalized quiz results. Do you remember the quizzes in old magazines that made you count all of your points so you could get your final answer? This is like that, but with our Interact quiz builder, it automatically tallies the points for you!

Here’s how it works. Inside the quiz, each question is assigned a point value and the points are added as a quiz-taker completes the quiz. Based on their answers and corresponding points, the scored quiz will automatically tally and give their result.

The American Red Cross created a fire preparation quiz to help residents understand how prepared they are for a home fire emergency. By using a scored quiz, they educate their audience about fire preparedness while also giving a final answer that shares more information on how to be better prepared.

Assessment quiz

When you want to give your audience a clear answer whether they should pursue one thing or another, it’s time to create an assessment quiz. These quizzes allow your audience to privately answer a series of questions that will point them in the right direction.

One example comes from designer Kristen Fulchi who created a quiz titled Is It Time to Hire a Designer? This assessment quiz provides the perfect opportunity for her potential clients to self-select their answers and determine if they’re ready to work with a designer like Kristen.

If they are ready, they’ll receive more reasons as to why it’s time to hire a designer with a call-to-action (CTA) button that gives them an opportunity to schedule a free consultation call with her. What a smart strategy! And Kristen already booked a $4,000 project directly from her assessment quiz.

Buzzfeed-style quiz

Also referred to as a pop culture quiz, these quizzes are fun, lighthearted, and pretty addictive! Years ago, Buzzfeed captured the world’s attention with their share-worthy quizzes. With one quiz being viewed over 22 million times, the possibilities with Buzzfeed-style quizzes are seemingly endless.

Do you remember when it was hard to scroll through your Facebook feed without seeing multiple Buzzfeed quizzes pop up? Facebook and other social media platforms look different today, but these entertaining quizzes are still a great way to hook your audience.

A great example of a Buzzfeed-style quiz comes from Erika Holmes, a copywriter who created a pop culture quiz that tells quiz-takers what celebrity entrepreneur they’re most like. This feels like a fun take on a typical personality quiz, and it has led to better engagement with her potential clients.

Trivia quiz

Who else loves trivia nights? Whether you are a part of a bar trivia team or love to learn facts about little-known topics, a trivia quiz may be a fun quiz type for you to explore. Trivia quizzes can be used to test someone’s knowledge of a given subject.

They might also be useful if you’re trying to understand how much someone knows about a specific topic before recommending resources. You wouldn’t want to send an advanced professional the same resources as a hopeful beginner. Trivia quizzes are a great way to see just how much your audience knows about what you teach.

If you’re not sure where to start with a trivia quiz, here’s a roundup of 100 trivia question examples that may inspire you. If you’re a trivia buff, you may have some of your own already.

You can choose a pop culture topic like the Super Bowl (see our example below) or an educational topic like math or science. It’s completely up to you, but make sure your trivia quiz relates in some way to your business or main offer if you’re hoping to generate quality leads from your quiz.

I hope your creativity is flowing after seeing these examples. You can choose more quiz types from this comprehensive list. No matter which quiz topic and type you’re leaning toward, you’re now ready to write a compelling quiz title.

20 click-worthy quiz title examples

Let’s talk about quiz titles! It’s one of the first quiz elements your audience will see, so you want it to pop, giving your audience a reason to take your quiz.

No matter how much time you spend crafting your quiz content, no one will see it if your quiz title doesn’t entice or engage them. Just as an email subject line determines whether or not a subscriber reads your content, your quiz title will determine whether someone decides to take your quiz.

I’ll cover a few best practices for creating your quiz title later in this article, but first, I’ll share a few showstopping examples of quiz titles that get the most clicks.

Note: The quiz starts listed in this article were collected in April 2021. The below quizzes are still attracting quiz-takers each day as they continue to run on autopilot. Think of what kind of impact a quiz could have on your own lead generation!

If you’re interested in creating your own quiz, sign up for an Interact account and test out our platform for yourself. One of the first things you’ll need when creating your quiz will be a quiz title, so let’s review some of the most clicked-on quiz titles, which you can customize based on your unique quiz idea.

What’s your bullet journal style?

With nearly 31,000 quiz starts, Rachel from Planning Mindfully has created one of the highest clicked quiz titles among bloggers. Since her blog focuses on topics like bullet journaling, personal development, and time management, it makes sense why she would choose the quiz title What’s Your Bullet Journal Style?

image18 13

What we like about this quiz:

Rachel did a great job of choosing a topic that was not only relevant to her fast-growing blog audience but also to her brand as a whole. Bullet journaling is a trending topic in the personal planning world, so she was smart to hop on this easily recognizable term.

We also like the simplicity of her quiz title. If someone already knows what bullet journaling is, they’ll be enticed to find out how it fits into their lifestyle. If they aren’t sure what it is, the description below gives a preview of the possible results someone may receive after completing the quiz. Any quiz-taker on the fence will know what to expect and, therefore, will be more likely to take the quiz.

There’s so much to like about this quiz, but the last thing we’ll mention is the full-length blog post Rachel wrote to break it down. This is a great way to optimize your quiz for search engines. In fact, when you search for “bullet journal quiz,” Rachel’s blog post is the first result!

Do you know your visual brand style?

Have you ever wondered how you might use a quiz to pre-qualify client leads? That was the inspiration behind brand designer Sibila Ribeiro’s visual brand style quiz, which has now attracted 19,207 quiz participants! Not only is this quiz a tool for her clients but it’s also readily available for any business owner who is interested in refreshing or redefining their branding.

image15 12

What we like about this quiz:

If a quiz-taker reads this title and silently answers that they don’t know their visual brand style, they’ll be enticed to take the quiz. They’ll rightly assume this quiz will provide the answer, which is where Sibila adds value.

In addition to the quiz results, Sibila also offers a personalized visual brand style guide at the end of the quiz. These resources persuade more quiz-takers to complete the quiz and sign up for her email list in the process.

She also uses a lot of imagery and visual examples with her answer options. Did you know that 90% of the most viewed quizzes include answer images? Don’t forget to add some graphics or stock photos from our free library to your own quiz!

What should your goal be?

Goal-setting is something that’s easy to put on the back burner. If we aren’t careful, we may lose sight of our goals in the daily hustle, which is why Nadalie created a goal-setting quiz on her blog It’s All You Boo. Now that 12,342 people have taken her quiz, it’s clear to see that this is an important topic.

image32 7

What we like about this quiz:

Nadalie was smart when she chose a topic that relates not only to her most popular blog content but also to her core product: an affordably priced Slay Your Goals digital planner. This quiz title should naturally attract people who are interested in goal-setting but may not know where to start. This is exactly where her ideal audience is hanging out, so serving them through a quiz makes this strategy a homerun.

In addition to her planner product, Nadalie also encourages quiz-takers to sign up for her email list. By doing so, they’ll see their results and get instant access to over 25 free resources in her VIP resource library. Making these printables exclusive to her email list makes the quiz even better.

Before you create your quiz, think about how you might add fun and delightful features. Is there something you can add of value that will help you become magnetic to your ideal client or buyer? This is your time to make a great first impression!

What type of creative are you?

As a fine artist turned educator, Emily Jeffords created a quiz to help aspiring creative entrepreneurs figure out if they’re ready to own their own business. She guides quiz-takers through a series of questions to help them understand where they are on her “success path,” which directly correlates with their quiz results. This strategy has allowed her to grow her quiz to 7,164 quiz starts!

image12 18

What we like about this quiz:

By pairing her quiz-takers with one of five potential results on her success path, her audience will walk away knowing where they currently are and how they can move forward. It will also help them determine if starting a creative or artistic business is right for them.

For example, if someone gets the result of a Hobbyist, they may want to continue exploring and improving in their craft before they commit to their business idea. However, if they receive Aficionado or Creative Maven, they may be more prepared to launch their business. We also love the custom, on-brand graphic she created as a quiz cover photo to make this quiz pop even more!

Her quiz features nine easy-to-answer questions, which fits within our recommendation of seven to ten quiz questions. Otherwise, your quiz may feel too long or too short, depending on your audience’s attention span or expectations.

What is your self-sabotage type?

To serve entrepreneurs to her best ability, coach Ashley Beaudin created a self-sabotage quiz as a supportive tool for her ideal audience. Since self-sabotage is a serious quiz topic, she added interesting images and friendly copy to make her quiz feel more lighthearted and welcoming. Her quiz has been taken more than 6,284 times with over 3,000 participants in her first week of launching the quiz.

image33 7

What we like about this quiz:

Ashley went above and beyond with her quiz, making dedicated quiz result landing pages for each of her eight self-sabotage types and a downloadable workbook with more information. This entices more people to sign up for her email list to receive freebies and resources based on their type.

Ashley’s goal is to give her audience as many valuable resources as possible before they make a decision to work with her. She delivers this value through her email list and the rest of her website. Instead of thinking of your quiz as a one-time interactive activity, think of it as a long-term supportive tool. Ashley even created a workshop that teaches people how to do the same with their own quizzes!

We also love how Ashley used Instagram to lead more people to her quiz in its first week. This allowed her to generate over $7,000 in membership sales! If you want to use social media to attract more quiz-takers, look at Ashley’s Instagram account for more inspiration.

Will journaling, meditation, or mantras work best for you?

What if your quiz title led with each of your potential quiz result types? While we typically recommend keeping your result types a secret, this strategy is working for self-love coach Paul Fishman! By introducing different self-care practices, he uses his quiz to educate his audience, giving them accessible tips for getting started. With 2,821 quiz starts and counting, Paul is making a splash with his quiz content!

We also like how Paul uses this quiz to introduce his flagship course, The Self Love Success Path. By including a call-to-action button at the end of his quiz, he leads interested quiz-takers to his course sales page. You can do the same by connecting your quiz topic to a course, product, or service that fits the same subject.

What’s your Momiform style?

Are you hoping to trademark a word, phrase, or saying in your business? If you want to use it in your branding, try incorporating it into your quiz title. Wardrobe stylist Jammie Baker did this when creating her What’s Your Momiform Style? quiz, which has now been taken 2,329 times. Since her ideal clients are busy moms who care about style, this quiz title and trademarked phrase is a perfect fit (pun intended).

By taking the quiz, her audience is paired with five potential styles: classic, sporty, boho, feminine, or edgy. Like Paul’s example above, Jammie gives a preview of her quiz result types but does it in her quiz description. She also switched the default “take quiz” call-to-action language with “find out now” to increase urgency. You can do the same!

Now that it’s been taken over 1,683 times, Kamila has used quiz data to improve her offerings and better connect with her ideal audience. In the first two months after launching her quiz, she generated over 1,000 qualified leads with Facebook ads, costing less than one dollar per lead. Find out what you should outsource first

As a wedding photographer, Sara Monika was looking for ways to mentor other photographers who want to learn from her. One of the ways she helps them is through a quiz

By focusing on a specific topic like outsourcing, Sara is able to answer frequently asked questions without the manual work of emailing everyone individually. She can simply send the link to her quiz to interested photographers, and they can self-select their answers, which will give them a personalized result, guiding them to their best path forward.

With 695 quiz starts, Sara can serve this secondary audience while putting more of her energy into booking wedding photography clients. That’s what we like to call a win-win scenario! If you have a secondary audience you’d like to help without taking time away from your main audience, Sara’s quiz is a great example to follow.

What type of entrepreneur lives within you?

Angela from the Be Brilliant Movement wanted to create a quiz that properly identifies what type of entrepreneur her audience members are. This gives her great data when she reviews and tweaks her offers, especially now that 614 people have taken her quiz. With on-brand graphics and interesting questions, this quiz is a joy to take!

We love that Angela includes question images, three answer options per question, and a full-length quiz result landing page for each type (like this). As a storytelling coach, Akansha Agrawal has no shortage of messaging and writing tips to share with her audience. When entrepreneurs are ready to begin their storytelling journey, Akansha introduces her storytelling style quiz, which acts as one of their first steps.

With 588 quiz starts, many entrepreneurs have already discovered what their storytelling strengths are. Like other examples from this article, Akansha gives a small preview into these specific storytelling types, which include the Entertainer, Educator, Connector, and Motivator.

She does a great job of showing the strengths and weaknesses (what she calls “shadows”) of each type so quiz-takers know where they can improve their storytelling skills. She also gives a short bio that personally introduces herself to quiz-takers who may be new to her site. You never know how someone will find your quiz!

Now that 567 people have taken her quiz, Adonica knows she’s able to deliver high-quality tips to improve each quiz-taker’s self-care routine. Which candle fragrance are you?

Are you hoping to choose a fun topic for your quiz? That’s what Michelle at Modern Theory did when she created her candle quiz! While this is a delightful quiz to take, it’s also very strategic because Modern Theory sells hand-poured, sustainable candles. Her quiz has been taken 481 times, even though it’s on autopilot.

This is what we would call a product recommendations quiz because the quiz is primarily used to recommend different candle scents. Each scent correlates to a different candle product that Modern Theory already offers. The quiz then acts as a personal shopper, much like the Primally Pure deodorant quiz that generated over $100,000 in additional revenue! It’s a great strategy if you’re an e-commerce shop owner.

Speaking of fun quizzes, graphic designer Maria LaRae decided to make a more creative quiz  by helping her audience discover what their brand’s coffee order is. You may be wondering what coffee could say about your brand. Maria believes it says a lot, and she gives more information through her charming quiz, which has now been taken over 400 times.

You only have about 2.7 seconds to grab someone’s attention, so Maria does a great job of making her quiz feel more fun with a unique quiz topic idea. After someone takes the quiz and receives their coffee order suggestion, Maria also gives specific branding tips and recommendations for each person and introduces her Facebook group community at the bottom of her quiz result landing pages.
